Now I realize Ladner is smack in the middle of the ALR (Agricultural Land Reserve) and it is incredibly common to see all sorts of birds of prey (eagles, hawks, falcons etc) as well as the Great Blue Heron that adorns our 'Welcome to Ladner' sign, but it is NOT a common sight to see a couple of adult Bald Eagles in the tree across the street. We are in Suburb Central!! It could not BE more residential where we live! Needless to say I dropped everything (except LC), ran into the house and grabbed my camera!!
Not something you see every day!!
